Capital museum

Beijing has its own museu: the Capital Museum.

The building is very nice, not a traditional building, but a modern construction. Particularly interesting is a "tower" where contain some exhibition rooms and a corridor rising from the bottom to the top.

 

The content is often similar to that of other museum, as the National Museum of China.

The museum hosts also temporary exhibition. When I visited it there was an exhibition of architecture starting from the '70s.

 A particularity of this museum is the reconstruction of some seesight of the old Beijing.

 Another part shows also the objects tipical of the city. Morover there are also some reconstructions of the traditional buildings and objects, also related to the wedding ceremony.
